O Atlético-MG faces Sport this Wednesday (08/10), at 7pm (Brasília time)at Arena MRV, in a delayed game of the 14th round of the Brazilian Championship, with a surprise in the attack: Hulk starts the match as a substitute, giving way to Dudu. Coach Jorge Sampaoli’s decision comes amid a series of absences, including players called up to Data Fifa.
Hulk, currently 39 years old, is not injured. There is also no information about physical limitations. However, the number 7 has not scored in ten games and has not assisted in nine matches. Thus, it is a choice made by coach Jorge Sampaoli.
Regarding the other positions: in defense, the novelty is the return of Lyanco, who was suspended in the last round, forming the defense alongside Vitor Hugo and full-back Saravia, improvised in the line of three due to the absences of Júnior Alonso and Iván Román. In midfield, Fausto Vera takes over from Alan Franco, also called up.
