O Los Angeles Lakers will have a significant absence for the start of the 2025/26 NBA season. LeBron James will be sidelined due to sciatic nerve painaccording to journalist Shams Charania, from the American ESPN.
The winger, currently 40 years old, must miss between three and four weeks of the regular seasonwhich begins on October 21st. In their debut, the Lakers face the Golden State Warriors, led by Stephen Curry, at 11pm (Brasília time), at the Crypto.com Arena, in Los Angeles.
This week, LeBron drew attention when he declared that he would make “the decision of decisions”, but it was just an advertisement for an alcoholic drink.
LeBron will play his 23rd season in the NBA. Since being selected in the 2003 draft, the “King” has won four league titles, four MVP awards, 13 Team of the Year call-ups and 21 All-Star Game appearances.
Was up early thinking 🤔!! 23 years in the league… the ups, the downs and everything we accomplished along the way. What if I never got that first opportunity to show what I could do?!?! 🤷🏾♂️👑 #ad
