The senator Eduardo Braga (MDB) and the federal deputy Captain Alberto Neto (PL) lead the scenarios for a possible dispute over the Senate by Amazonas in 2026, according to research by the institute Real Time Big Data released this Friday (10).
Next year, the Senate renews 2/3 of its seats, electing two senators per state.
In total, 1,200 interviews were carried out between October 8th and 9th; margin of error is three percentage points, plus or minus.
Braga, who was elected in 2018, appears tied with Alberto Neto in two of the three scenarios, the latter in which Neto does not appear.
In a first scenario, the senator and Alberto Neto have 21%. The governor of Amazonas, Wilson Lima (União), has 18%; the former federal deputy Marcelo Ramos (PT) e Marcos Rotta (Avante)former vice mayor of Manaus, has 8%; the senator Plínio Valério (PSDB), 7%.
In the second scenario, Braga and Alberto Neto remain tied with 22%. The businesswoman Maria do Carmo Seffair (PL) reaches 11%. Marcelo Ramos appears with 9%, followed by Route e Valerioboth with 8%.
In a last scenario, without Captain Alberto Neto, Braga reaches 21%, accompanied by Wilson Limacom 19%. Maria do Carmo appears with 14%, followed by Route e Valeriowith 9%, in addition to Marcelo Ramoscom 8%.
