A Civil Police of Rio Grande do Sul arrested, this Monday (4), a woman suspected of having beaten to death with a pickaxe one puppy in Porto Alegre. In her house, others were found eleven animals in situations of abuse who were also rescued.
Investigations indicate that she is the author of the attack on the dog, for a video that recorded the incident. For the delegate responsible for the caseCesar Carrion, the manner in which the dog was murdered was “a very great cruelty”.
The Police explained that they received the images showing the pickaxe, from the Public Environmental Ministry, at the end of April. And from there, they started investigating the case.
Regarding the video of the dog’s death, Cesar says that “we see in the images she took with that material, that iron there, she hit him twice in the head and she threw him into the bush, the little animal in agony.”
After investigations, the delegate reported that they identified the suspect as an aggressor and requested the Court one
At her house, agents found eight dogs and three horses in ill-treatment conditions and arrested her red-handed.
The PC continues to investigate the case, but the suspect was released after a custody hearing.
