The AP Eva Senses hotel, in Faro, and Estúdio Onze joined forces to create a partnership that combines leisure and culture in the same space, announced the AP Hotels & Resorts group.
The collaboration between both entities resulted in an artistic mural installed inside the hotel, which “reflects the essence of the Ria Formosa, a natural park located in the eastern Algarve”, highlights the group.
The project was developed by artist Edgar Pacheco, founding member of Estúdio Onze, and is part of AP Eva Senses’ strategy of reinforcing the hotel’s connection to the city and the cultural identity of the Algarve.
As part of the same partnership, a new exhibition space was opened at the hotel on October 6th, hosting an exhibition of works of art by Estúdio Onze. This space marks the beginning of a new phase for the hotel unit, which has been renovating its facilities in recent months.
According to the group, “this new space debuts following renovations that the hotel carried out in recent months, which resulted in new meeting rooms, a new SPA, a new gym and an indoor pool”.
The initiative reinforces AP Eva Senses’ commitment to promoting the fusion between hospitality, art and local heritage, transforming the hotel into a meeting point between culture and tourism in the heart of Faro.
AP Eva Senses is a 4-star hotel, located in the center of Faro, with “fantastic views of the city’s Marina and the Ria Formosa Natural Park”.
Recently renovated, this hotel presents “a set of unique facilities, including its Rooftop and restaurants, such as Harune, which are also open to the general public”.
Among the facilities, the Holeira unit also highlights “the perfect meeting rooms for hosting product launches, conferences and corporate events”.
Estúdio Onze is a multidisciplinary project created in the Algarve that combines “art, curation and applied creativity”.
Founded by Ana Goulão (curatorship and artistic consultancy), Miguel Martins (sculpture and assemblage) and Edgar Pacheco (painting, urban art and tattoo), the studio asserts itself as “a hybrid space, where different artistic languages and cultural mediation practices coexist”.
With more than a decade of experience, Estúdio Onze states that it builds “bridges between artists, communities and spaces, with an approach marked by proximity, sustainability and the desire to make art accessible and transformative”.
