At the end of an open training session at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, Julián Álvarez went to greet the fans and received a special request from an Atlético de Madrid fan: to place a flower in the center of the pitch in honor of his deceased daughter. The Argentine striker complied with the request, transforming the moment into an emotionally charged gesture.

The open training session aimed to bring members and fans closer to the team in the days before the duel with Betis, in Seville, which ended in Atlético’s 2-0 victory.

Álvarez explained the reason for the gesture: the fan, deeply connected to the club, asked him to leave the flower in memory of his daughter, and the Argentine international did not hesitate to fulfill his wish.
