Swiss bank Julius Baer financed Signa: Now it is supposed to pay creditors 62 million


The sums involved in the Causa Signa are – with exceptions of course – enormous. The insolvency of the real estate group founded by René Benko is breaking all records; creditors across Europe have filed claims totaling around 40 billion euros, in Austria alone around 37 billion euros. Creditor advocate Gerhard Weinhofer from Creditreform recently announced these figures in an interview with the APA.
