Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (), determined this Thursday (10/30) that Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, former aide-de-camp to Jair Bolsonaro, begin serving his sentence of two years of open prison, with precautionary measures in place. For having informed on the scheme, Cid received a lesser sentence than the others.

Mauro Cid was the only two eight defendants from the crucial core of the coup plot who did not file a motion for clarification, that is, an appeal that seeks to clarify or correct his conviction.

Cid was an informant about the coup scheme. According to the decision of the First Panel of the Supreme Court, he is prohibited from carrying weapons; use social networks; and to communicate with those convicted and investigated for the coup plot. In addition, you will have to pay at home at night (between 8pm and 6am) and on weekends.
