During one of the laps, the car driven by Caio lost control on a curve and ended up hitting the tire barrier. The impact destroyed the front part of the vehicle, but the actor emerged without serious injuries. He was treated by the event’s medical team and, after examinations, was discharged on site.

In a statement to Quem magazine, the actor’s team explained what may have caused the incident. “We believe it was an oil stain or the calibration of the tires which, when very hot, have less grip. In the curve called Bacião, the car skidded, leading straight to the tire barrier […] It was just the impact on the shoulder and arm, nothing serious”, said the note.
According to Caio’s representatives, the episode was just a scare and did not compromise his participation in the next stages of the competition.
