There is no big winner in the Dutch elections. None of the no fewer than 27 parties that took part in the vote even came close to 20 percent of the vote. The party landscape is very fragmented. Since there is no four percent hurdle, 15 parties are represented in parliament and share 150 mandates among themselves. Clear majorities are traditionally difficult to find in the country.
