In a statement on social media, Vittor Fernando recounts moments of terror, speaks of a miracle upon leaving the ICU and questions violence in Brazil
For the first time since he was shot in an attempted robbery in , influencer Vittor Fernando spoke publicly about the attack he suffered alongside his boyfriend, actor Gabriel Fuentes. In a report this Friday (31), he described the experience as “scary days” and claimed to have “seen death up close”.
Vittor Fernando detailed the severity of his injuries, explaining that a bullet lodged in his heart after shattering near his chest and that another shot went through his leg. He also expressed the anguish of witnessing his boyfriend, Gabriel, injured with a gunshot to the arm.
The influencer said that the car they were in was hit by more than 13 shots, resulting in the total loss of the vehicle. In his statement, he questioned the reason for the violence suffered: “What did Gabriel and I do to deserve this? Nothing.”
Despite the trauma, Vittor Fernando celebrated his recovery as a “miracle”. “I didn’t believe in miracles, but today, with the news that I’m leaving the ICU, I definitely believe it!”, he stated. He assured that, although they have lived through “horrible and unimaginable” moments, both are out of risk and recovering every day.
At the end of his outburst, the influencer raised a reflection on insecurity in the country. “There’s a question in my head: how long will we, Brazilians, survive like this?”, he asked. He thanked the prayers and positive energy he has received from his followers.

Vittor Fernando and Gabriel Fuentes were attacked in the early hours of October 24, in Itatiaia, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, while returning to . According to information from the Public Security Secretariat, the case is being investigated as an attempted homicide.
According to police records, the two had stopped at a gas station to have a snack when a man approached and fired multiple shots at the car. The attacker reportedly reappeared on a nearby street and shot again. Even though they were injured and their vehicle was damaged, the artists managed to drive to a station on Via Dutra, where they asked for help and were taken to a hospital by police officers.
