Recently, the one that can do the same job not only with the mouse but also with the keyboard.
Last year, the technology went even further: the first patient with a Neuralink chip gets it.
However, most attempts to replace this precious object did not seem to fully satisfy users’ needs.
Now, it presents itself as a good best solution.
The ring like a mouse is not exactly new. However, previous mouse-ring devices were a bit bulky, had visible buttons, or placed the hand in the same position as a traditional mouse, potentially causing strain on the wrist.
In contrast, the Prolo Ring minimalistlaunched last week on Kickstarter, looks more like a piece of jewelry.
It has no buttons and weighs about 5 grams. It’s light enough to make you forget you’re wearing it – so make sure you take it off before washing the dishes, jokes .
O Prolo Ring fits onto index finger and has three main components: one trackpad (thumb operated), a 6-axis motion sensor and a counterstrip (basically a trackpad operated by the index finger of the other hand).
O Full control of the cursor is mostly done with the thumb: point, click, pan, zoom or swipe.
O ring can recognize more than 40 gestures in the air made with the index finger (of the hand wearing the ring), which can be programmed according to your individual needs.
All This feature allows your hands to remain on the keyboardas all control tools are literally at your fingertips.
The device takes about an hour to charge, and the disadvantage is that the battery may run out before the end of the work day eight hours.
