The German influencer Naomi Seibt first gained international attention in spring 2020 after the Washington Post had given her the title “Anti-Greta”. This was intended to allude to her online activism in which she denies man-made climate change. Over the years, however, Seibt’s focus has moved away from climate and towards supporting right-wing extremist content in general and the AfD in particular. As a result of this commitment, the young woman says she experienced so many threats and repression in Germany that she is now applying for asylum in the USA.
