Good morning. We begin the narration of the second day of the trial of the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, for revealing secrets in relation to the tax fraud of Alberto González Amador, the boyfriend of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso. This Tuesday should be one of the days marked in red in the process, due to the statements of two heavyweights in the case: the alleged victim of the leak, González Amador, and Ayuso’s Chief of Staff, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, the man who circulated the hoax that it was the Prosecutor’s Office that offered a settlement agreement to the alleged fraudster, when in reality it was the other way around: it was González Amador who sought it. This hoax triggered the writing and publication of a press release to deny it. To prepare it, García Ortiz collected the exchange of emails between the Prosecutor’s Office and the defense of Ayuso’s boyfriend, including the one in which González Amador sought the agreement of agreement and admitted having committed two tax crimes for more than 350,000 euros.
