There are only four new trains, but the interest is enormous: While passengers are happy about the new double-decker trains from the private Westbahn, the news is encountering a lot of headwind from the railway industry. The reason? The train sets for the western route come from the largest train manufacturer in the world, CRRC. This gigantic company that is hardly known to anyone outside the industry in this country, but has been viewed like a hawk within it for years.
