Ranking released by CIES Footbal considers athletes who have not yet turned twenty years of age
Brazilian strikers appear among the ten most valuable young players on the planet. The ranking was released this Thursday, 6th, by CIES Football, the Football Observatory. The list considers athletes who have not yet turned twenty years of age. The best ranked Brazilian is Estêvão, from . The former Palmeiras player appears in second place in the list, valued at 118.1 million euros, around R$727.2 million at the current price. Another Brazilian in the Top 10, Endrick, from , is in ninth place, with an estimated value of 73.2 million euros (around R$450.7 million).
The player lost space in the Spanish club’s squad, but still occupies a prominent position on the CIES Football list. The most valuable young player in the world is Spanish Lamine Yamal, from Barcelona. It is valued at 349.6 million euros (around R$2.1 billion). Pau Cubarsí, also from Barcelona, completes the podium, with a value of 113 million euros.
The other members of the Top 10 are: Franco Mastantuono (Real Madrid), Zaire-Emery (PSG), Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal), Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Geovany Quenda (Sporting) and Lucas Bergvall (Tottenham). The next Brazilian in the ranking is attacking midfielder Pedrinho, ex-Corinthians and who is at Zenit, in Russia. It occupies thirtieth place, with an estimated value of 29.6 million euros (R$ 182.2 million at current prices).
