According to police, at least eight people were killed in an explosion in the Indian capital New Delhi on Monday. The blast occurred in a car in a densely populated area near a landmark known as the Red Fort, police spokesman Sanjay Tyagi said. The exact cause is still unclear and is being investigated. Television stations also reported at least eleven injuries.
