Pupils were able to register for summer school until last Friday. The initiative is intended to prepare children and young people for the next school year during the last two weeks of vacation, with a focus on language development. By June 15, four days before the deadline, 54,461 students were registered, the Ministry of Education said on Monday in response to a STANDARD request. Final figures should be available by mid-July.
