Leila Pereira complained about the decisions of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) in the trials of Allan, from Palmeiras, and Bruno Henrique, from Flamengo, this Monday (10/11). The trial session of Bruno Henrique, from Flamengo, was postponed. Hours earlier, the court confirmed the punishment for Allan, from the São Paulo team. The player is out of the classic against Santos, on Saturday, for the Brasileirão.
– Palmeiras has always respected, and will continue to respect, institutions, but expects the same respect in return. What is happening is not fair – said Leila in a statement sent to the press.
– An athlete is convicted of a serious infraction and plays normally for two months, including scoring goals and deciding games. Then, when the new trial is finally scheduled, they vote to acquit this athlete and the session is postponed – he added.
Bruno Henrique’s case will be judged again next Thursday, at 3 pm (Brasília time).
– Allan, who was a first-time offender, received a two-match suspension for one game and then had the punishment ratified by the Court in just over 15 days. And all of this happens in a decisive week, when we would already have several absences due to FIFA Data. We don’t want to be benefited, but we don’t accept being harmed – he continued.
– Palmeiras hopes that the STJD adopts a balanced stance, so that its decisions do not influence the course of one of the most disputed championships in recent years. Let the champion be decided on the field – concluded Leila Pereira.

What happened in the Allan and Bruno Henrique trials?
Until the moment of the interruption, Bruno Henrique had received a vote in his favor in the case of the accusation that he had warned his brother that he would receive a yellow card. Sergio Furtado Filho, rapporteur of the inquiry, voted for the acquittal in article 243-a, which provides for up to 12 games of suspension, and the punishment in article 191, with a fine of R$ 100 thousand, and no punishment in games.
Allan’s judgment, on the other hand, was related to the red card received for a foul on Samuel Xavier in the match against Fluminense. As the Prosecutor’s Office interpreted the move as an unfair or hostile act, a two-game suspension was imposed.
The first was fulfilled automatically, but Palmeiras tried to reverse the expulsion in the second game, which did not happen.

Understand the case of Bruno Henrique
Three companies (Betano, GaleraBet and KTO) would have noticed the creation of new accounts and bets in an unusual volume on cards to be taken by Bruno Henrique against Santos, in 2023. The new accounts would come from Belo Horizonte, the city where Bruno Henrique was born. According to Betano, 98% of the betting volume in the card market was directed to Bruno Henrique, reported “ge”. According to the investigation, they were made by the player’s friends and relatives.
The investigation originates from a report by IBIA (International Betting Integrity Association), an international entity that is also involved in the investigation into alleged manipulation by Lucas Paquetá in England.
In addition to the Sports Court, in the Common Court, the athlete also recently became a defendant. He was reported to the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT), which accepted a complaint filed by the Public Ministry of the Federal District and Territories (MPDFT).
