Hardly any other social issue becomes so fragmented, so unpredictable and so quickly political as disinformation. Whether manipulated images, data taken out of context, targeted deception in election campaigns or simply incorrect health advice on TikTok: the mixture of entertainment, opinion and supposed expertise makes it difficult to clearly distinguish between right and wrong in everyday life.
