Eisenstadt – The Esterhazy Foundations have presented their cultural program for 2026, which, in addition to fixed points such as the Autumn Gold Festival, also has something new in store. A choir festival will take place in Eisenstadt for the first time from June 18th to 21st. On May 1st, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra will be giving their traditional European concert in the Burgenland state capital, said general director Rico Gulda. Under the direction of chief conductor Kirill Petrenko and with Gautier Capuçon as soloist on cello, the Berlin Philharmonic will perform a program that celebrates the musical diversity of Europe and will be broadcast worldwide, said Gulda.
