Higher museum admission prices for non-EU citizens? A legitimate demand

After the Louvre in Paris, the Palace of Versailles also announced this week that it would increase admission prices for non-Europeans from January: for visitors from outside the EU or the European Economic Area, entry to the Louvre will increase by 45 percent (to 32 euros) and that in Versailles by 9.4 percent (to 35 euros).
