The Bradesco app faced instability this Friday morning (12), leaving customers unable to access accounts and carry out transactions, especially via Pix. When trying to open the platform, the user encounters the message: “Sorry, we can’t access the app right now, but we’re working to resolve it.” According to the website Downdetector, which monitors failures in online services, the first reports began between 5:50 am and 6:30 am and reached peaks between 8:42 am and 9:42 am, when more than 2,000 notifications were registered. This is the second time in a week that the application has had problems.

The instability occurs on a day of great banking activity, marked by the payment of the second installment of the 13th salary to many workers. On Google Trends, searches such as “Bradesco app down” and “Pix Bradesco down today” registered a sudden increase.

On social media, account holders report difficulties in making payments and transfers. Many claim to have faced embarrassing situations when trying to pay for purchases and services. “My wife would be embarrassed if she didn’t have my card from another bank,” wrote a user when reporting a Pix failure during a bakery purchase. There are also reports of customers who abandoned purchases or missed appointments because they were unable to access the app.

Other users complain about the recurrence of crashes. “The same thing every month. If it’s maintenance, why not do it early in the morning?” asked a customer. Another stated that he could be fined for missing a reservation: “There will have to be a process”, he published.

In a note, Bradesco informed that applications for individuals and legal entities “present intermittent moments” and that technical teams “are working to regularize them as soon as possible”. The institution also advised the use of alternative channels, such as the BIA virtual assistant, for information services.
