Joelson Veloso, Isabel Veloso’s father, used social media this Tuesday, the 16th, to vent about his daughter’s health. The influencer has been hospitalized in Curitiba since November 26th, remains sedated and awaits the results of an intestinal biopsy.
In a message published on Instagram Stories, Joelson shared an outburst marked by faith. “When the silence of the news squeezes our hearts and anguish tries to dominate us, it is at this time that faith needs to speak louder”, he wrote.
Despite the delicate moment, he showed confidence in his daughter’s recovery. “Trusting God, even without understanding, is an act of love and hope. We continue in prayer, believing that He is taking care of every detail”, he stated.
Finally, Joelson reinforced the message of hope: “Isabel is in the hands of the Father, and in Him we have our trust”.
Last Monday, the 15th, Lucas Borbas, Isabel’s husband, updated her health status. He reported that the influencer remains sedated and stable, while the family awaits the test results.

Isabel has been admitted to the Curitiba Hospital since November 26th. The tests showed an excess of magnesium in her blood and she was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but was discharged and continued treatment in the room.
A few days later, the influencer was admitted to the ICU again, after being diagnosed with a serious case of pneumonia, and on the 4th, she was intubated for the second time.
The 19-year-old was diagnosed in 2021 with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, an aggressive cancer that originates in the lymphatic system and underwent palliative treatment for years. In May 2025, she revealed that the disease was in remission, contrary to many doctors’ prognosis, and in October, she underwent a bone marrow transplant.
