Nothing came of the establishment of the European Banking Authority (EBA), which is why ARE Austrian Real Estate (ARE), a subsidiary of Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft (BIG), has once again changed its plans for a property in Vienna’s 15th district. On the corner plot directly on Linke Wienzeile, house number 216, ARE is now building a building with 54 privately financed rental apartments, 18 serviced apartments and a 230 square meter office space on the ground floor as well as an underground car park. The foundation stone for the project with around 4,100 square meters of usable space was recently laid.
