The ORF’s separation from its long-time Middle East correspondent Karim El-Gawhary is considered fixed within ORF, and the terms of the farewell are still being negotiated. According to STANDARD information, future ORF reporting from the Middle East will not be like that Krone had reported, to be organized from the existing ORF office in Israel.
