Cuba criticizes Trump and says the US is using the fentanyl crisis as a military pretext

The Cuban government criticized this Tuesday, 23rd, the decision of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to declare fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction and warned that the Republican intends to use the serious consumption of this substance as an excuse to attack Latin American countries.

“The consumption of fentanyl is a real and serious problem”, expressed Chancellor Bruno Rodríguez on his account on the social network

Trump signed a decree last week classifying fentanyl, a very powerful opioid drug approved for analgesic use, but which has caused a health crisis due to addiction and overdose in the USA, as a “weapon of mass destruction”.
