Dizziness prevented the young woman identified as Geovanna Proque da Silva, who ran over and killed her boyfriend and another girl who accompanied him, from fleeing after the crime.
The collision occurred in the early hours of Sunday (28), in Campo Limpo, south of São Paulo and involves factors such as jealousy, threatening messages and persecution.
After becoming dizzy during an escape attempt, Geovanna fell onto a sidewalk. People who were nearby wanted to lynch her and, therefore, the police officers called in to the case removed her from the scene immediately.
She He needed medical attention because he had superficial cuts on his arms and neck. The young woman was arrested for the crime of qualified homicide. After a custody hearing, the São Paulo Court converted the arrest from flagrant to preventive.
Previously, the woman had already been diagnosed with severe depressive disorder. To the police, Geovanna admitted to having used antidepressant medication and that she had previously tried to take her own life. During interrogation, she remained silent.
The case was registered as double-qualified intentional homicide and bodily injury. The investigations will be carried out by the 37th Police District (Campo Limpo).

Geovanna, Raphael’s girlfriend for about a year, was not present at the get-together that took place at the young man’s house. However, a childhood friend of his would have been the reason why the girl had a jealous attack.
At around 2am, Raphael would have received the following message from his girlfriend: “Either you solve it, or I solve it.”
Moments after sending the message, Geovanna went to the young man’s house, accompanied by her stepmother. The woman’s identification has not yet been released. Reports from people who were at the scene indicate that both entered the residence to start a fight, but were restrained by Raphael himself.
When leaving the house, Raphael would have found Joyce, the victim who was riding pillion, in a cellar close to the location. With that, Geovanna chased the two at high speed for about 500 meters and managed to catch up to them.
