Mega da Virada paid the biggest prize in history in 2025

After more than an hour of delay, the postponed until January 1st the draw in which was supposed to happen this Wednesday (31). The draw, which was scheduled to take place at 10pm, was delayed due to technical problems and was only held more than an hour late. The record prize is worth R$ 1.09 billion. To date, the biggest prize was for 2024, which paid R$635.4 million.

Mega da Virada does not accumulate. This means that the prize is paid even if no bettor hits all six tens. Winners have 90 days to redeem the prize at Caixa branches. To redeem, you must present the winning ticket or proof of bet, as well as a photo ID and CPF. If the winners do not win, the money is transferred to Fies.
