The draw of which was scheduled for 10pm this Wednesday (31st), was postponed to 10am this Thursday (1st) by decision of the responsible for lotteries in the country.

According to the institution, betting channels recorded an unprecedented volume, with a peak of 120,000 transactions per second on digital platforms and 4,745 transactions per second at lottery outlets, a scenario that caused operational failures and resulted in the postponement of the Mega da Virada draw.

Bets like Mega da Virada involve a record volume and high values, which requires additional checking and validation procedures. The postponement, according to the institution, does not affect the rights of bettors or the value of the prize, which remains accumulated and will be drawn as soon as all security steps are completed.
