Air rescuers intervened near Janová Lehota: a woman was seriously injured after a collision with a truck

On Friday, air rescuers from Banská Bystrica helped a 24-year-old female driver who suffered several serious injuries in an early morning traffic accident on the I/9 road near Janová Lehota in the Žiar nad Hronom district. Air rescue service Air – Transport Europe (ATE) reported about it on the social network.

“The 24-year-old female driver suffered serious injuries to several parts of her body in a collision between a passenger car and a truck,” air paramedics approached, saying that after the helicopter landed, the patient was taken into the care of ground paramedics.

Added, already the doctor gave her additional necessary treatment, and after being transferred to the helicopter, the conscious woman with a diagnosis of polytrauma was airlifted to the FD Roosevelt University Hospital in Banská Bystrica.
