Viktor Medvedchuk is a former lawyer of Ukrainian origin, who was part of his country’s politics between 1997 and 2005, holding various roles such as deputy and head of the President’s Secretariat. Later, in 2012 he founded the pro-Russian movement called ‘The Ukrainian Opposition’.
