Washington – The United States says it is beginning the second phase of its plan for the coastal region by setting up an interim administration for the Gaza Strip. In addition to an administration made up of Palestinian technocrats, complete demilitarization and reconstruction are planned, said US President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff. The USA is also calling on Hamas to immediately hand over the last hostage killed.
