Left-wing movements and parties will carry out demonstrations this Friday (30) in 13 states, in defense of the sovereignty of , whose president, , was captured by the Donald Trump government at the beginning of the month.
The demonstrations are promoted by the Brasil Popular and Povo Sem Medo fronts, as well as trade union centers and parties such as PT, PSOL and PCdoB.
Among the cities that will host the events are Manaus (AM), Belém (PA), Natal (RN), Fortaleza (CE), Maceió (AL), Salvador (BA), São Paulo (SP), Campinas (SP), Ribeirão Preto (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brasília (DF), Porto Alegre (RS), Recife (PE), Goiânia (GO) and Belo Horizonte (MG).
Protesters are protesting what they see as violations of Venezuelan sovereignty and the Donald Trump administration’s desire to control the country’s oil industry.
