Meet the nominees for Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammys

“I SHOULD TAKE MORE PHOTOS” – Bad Bunny

The most nominated singer of the year was not left out of this category. If you’ve seen posts on TikTok with nostalgic photos or recreating the cover of an album with chairs in the garden to immortalize a special moment, it was a reference to Bad Bunny with the album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOTos”.

The album is one of the most ambitious, personal and culturally rich works of his career to date. The title of the album, which in Portuguese means “I should have taken more photos”, reflects the central concept of the album: a reflection on memory, identity and the importance of valuing lived moments, both in the personal life and in the cultural history of the artist and his people.

The project incorporates a vibrant fusion of traditional and modern rhythms — like salsa and classic reggaeton — creating a sound that celebrates Puerto Rican roots while pushing forward creatively.

“Swag” – Justin Bieber

was released by surprise in July 2025. The project, consisting of 21 tracks and approximately 54 minutes in length, marks Bieber’s return after a hiatus since 2021, and brings a mix of pop and R&B with influences from soul, rap and modern gospel.

Justin Bieber explores themes of mental health, identity and fame, with moments that address vulnerability and the relationship with the media and public pressures, as well as personal reflections, including love and intimacy, especially in songs that seem inspired by his life as a husband and father.

“Man’s Best Friend” – Sabrina Carpenter
