SP councilor arrested in PCC anti-money laundering operation

O councilor Senival Moura (PT) was arrested this Thursday morning (25) during an operation by the MPSP (Public Ministry of São Paulo) and the Civil Police against a scheme of PCC (First Command of the Capital) money laundering in public transport.

In addition to the politician, four other people were arrested. Among them are members of the faction and the president of the public transport company Transunião. The action is part of “Operation Last Stop”.

Investigations

According to the investigations, which began with the murder of Adauto Soares Jorge, until then president of the company, in 2020, he gathered robust evidence regarding the use of the dealership by the PCC to launder money.

In 2025 alone, the company earned more than R$300 million from the São Paulo transport system.
