Trump, Musk and Gates in Epstein’s files: leaked reports reveal drugs, mistresses and bizarre invitations to the island

The latest series of published files related to the case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein also includes documents referring to several prominent personalities. US President Donald Trump, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and billionaire Elon Musk are also mentioned in more than three million new pages published by the US Department of Justice on Friday. TASR informs about it according to the AFP agency.

  • The US Department of Justice released millions of pages of documents about Epstein.
  • The files mention several famous people, including Trump, Gates and Musk.
  • Some of the allegations against Trump in the documents come from anonymous, unverified sources.
  • The files also contain email communications with British Prince Andrew and Richard Branson.
  • Epstein committed suicide in 2019, but his death raises suspicions.

In relation to Trump, there is a list of sexual assault allegations compiled by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the files. Many of the allegations against the president were on the list based on anonymous calls and unverified tips. The document indicates that investigators reviewed several such tips, calling some of them unreliable.

Trump has long denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein. “Some of the documents contain false and sensationalized claims about President Trump that were submitted to the FBI just before the 2020 election. To be clear, these claims are false and unsubstantiated.” the Justice Department said in a statement Friday.

The latest documents also include a draft email that suggests Bill Gates had extramarital affairs. In it, Epstein wrote that his relationship with the Microsoft co-founder ranged from “helping Bill get drugs to deal with the consequences of having sex with Russian girls to facilitating his illicit rendezvous with married women.” In a statement to The New York Times, the Gates Foundation denied the allegations of affairs.

The files also contain numerous correspondence between Epstein and the billionaire Musk, in which they talked about the trip to Epstein’s island and the parties he organized there. Musk was true to his own words “well aware that some email correspondence with (Epstein) could be misinterpreted and used by critics to damage (his) name”.

“I don’t care about that, but I do care that we at least try to prosecute those who have committed serious crimes with Epstein, especially the heinous exploitation of underage girls.” added Musk in a post on the X platform. The new documents also include email communications between Epstein and former British Prince Andrew, who invited him to visit Buckingham Palace in September 2010.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor did so after Epstein suggested he introduce the 26-year-old to Russia a month earlier, the documents show. The former prince said he would “like to see her”, although there is no mention of such a meeting taking place in the materials. The files also show communications between Epstein and current US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. According to the emails they exchanged, in December 2012 they planned to have lunch together on the private island of the deceased sex offender.

The documents also testify to friendly relations between Epstein and British businessman Richard Branson. “Any contact Richard and Joan Branson had with Epstein occurred only a few times over 12 years ago and was limited to group or business meetings,” said a representative of Branson’s company Virgin Group on Friday, according to American media.

“Richard finds Epstein’s actions abhorrent and supports the right to justice for his many victims,” he added. The files also mention the 76-year-old film producer Steve Tisch, known, for example, for the film Forrest Gump. His email communications with Epstein indicate that he had relationships with multiple women.

The U.S. Department of Justice is declassifying and releasing files related to Epstein’s prosecution under a law Trump signed in November 2025. American financier Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in 2019 in a prison in New York. According to the investigation, he built an illegal network in which he provided underage girls to wealthy people. Many US citizens and right-wing influencers suspect that Epstein did not actually take his own life, but was murdered to prevent him from testifying about his prominent clients.
