Alice's mother thanks search teams after emotional reunion with missing daughter

The mother of Alice Maciel Lacerda Lisboa, aged 4, expressed her gratitude for the support received during the days of searching for her daughter, after the reunion this Saturday (31).

In a video published by Itatiaia radio, she emotionally thanked the Fire Department teams, the security forces and all the people who mobilized to help locate the child. “Thank you, thank you. I just have to thank everyone who helped me find my daughter”, she said, with the child on her lap, visibly moved.

Alice, who is autistic and non-verbal, had been missing since Thursday (29), when she moved away from the area where she was with family, in the district of Bituri, in Jeceaba, in the Central region of Minas Gerais. She was found this Saturday afternoon (31), on a rural road.

The reunion put an end to a period of great apprehension for both the family and the local community. However, authorities did not release details about the girl’s condition.
