John Deere is opening an industrial plant in Canoas (RS), after investing R$42 million, to produce the 1025E sprayer. In a statement, the company informed that the equipment will replace PLA’s line of sprayers, whose brand will be discontinued for the Brazilian market.
Production of the equipment should begin in August, and should cover soybean, corn, sugarcane, cassava and potato crops on land with different topography.
“The move continues the evolution of the company’s portfolio in Brazil, whose other sprayer models are manufactured in Catalão (GO),” said the company.
