Ice can form on the entire territory of Slovakia. This is pointed out by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ), which issued warnings of the first level. He informs about it on his website.
“Ice formation poses a potential hazard to human activities,” reminds SHMÚ. Snow warnings are also valid for some districts of central and eastern Slovakia. It concerns almost the entire Banskobystrický region and Rožňava district. Ten to 12 cm of new snow can occasionally fall there.
Snow tongues may continue to form in several districts of the Banskobystrica Region and the districts of Levice and Nové Zámky.
