On March 7th, Acre will be the stage for one of the biggest events in the health sector aimed at responding to critical situations: the II Acre Urgency and Emergency Symposium.

The event will take place from 8am to 8:30pm, at Uninorte, and will bring together students and health professionals in an intense and multidisciplinary program. The initiative is carried out by IFMSA Brazil Uninorte, together with TREMEM Capacitações, and has the support of Hospital do Rim, CEDIMP and Biolar, reinforcing the commitment to continued education and qualification of professionals who work on the front line of care.

Throughout the day, ten essential urgency and emergency topics will be covered, including Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA), Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI), air medical transport, orotracheal intubation (OTI), protective ventilation, ATLS updates and intraosseous puncture.

To close the program, participants will have a commented practice of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), combining theory and practice. In addition to the scientific content, the event will offer free access for 30 days to the Med Strategy platform for all participants, course raffles and 50% scholarships on TREMEM Capacitações courses, further expanding learning opportunities.

Registration will be carried out in two batches, with the first batch starting on February 5th, through the link available in IFMSA Brazil Uninorte’s Instagram bio.

The symposium is consolidated as a unique opportunity to update, exchange experiences and strengthen training in urgency and emergencies in the state of Acre.
