The storm Leonardo hits the Peninsula hard this Wednesday, where classes are suspended except in Almería and there are around 3,000 people evicted in the provinces of Cádiz, Málaga and Jaén. Aemet issued a special warning on Tuesday for heavy and persistent rains in the community. There is a red warning in Grazalema, Ronda and the strait area, due to rainfall of up to 150 liters. The notices are orange in Cádiz, Málaga, Granada, Jaén and Córdoba and yellow in the rest of the community, southern Extremadura. Due to the risk of snow, there are yellow warnings in Castilla y León, Madrid and the Pyrenees and in Galicia due to rain and coastal phenomena. There are also transport problems, with 45 roads closed – 13 due to snow and 32 due to rain – and several railway lines cut in Andalusia.
