The president of , , invited the Alesp bench (Legislative Assembly of São Paulo) for a coffee at his residence, in the capital of São Paulo, this Thursday (5). Kassab intends to invite them to join the PSD in March, during the party window.
Of the 8 tucano state deputies, 6 have already signaled that they should leave the party: Maria Lúcia Amary, Mauro Bragato, Bruna Furlan, Carla Morando, Analice Fernandes and the leader of the bench, Rogério Nogueira Barros Munhoz and Carlão Pignatari are doubtful, but they also do not completely rule out asking for disaffiliation.
The majority may have the PSD as their destination, but there are conversations with other parties. Morando, for example, can go to the MDB, the likely destination of her husband, the capital’s Secretary of Security, Orlando Morando.
At least 6 deputies must meet with Kassab or send a representative this Thursday (5).
President of the PSDB in the state of São Paulo, Paulinho Serra, is working to end the year with at least five deputies.
“The PSDB is in a reconstruction process to regain its protagonism. We should receive three deputies during the window, in addition to two remaining vacancies [das oito]. Barros Munhoz and Carlão have already expressed their intention to continue”, stated Serra. One of those who should join the party is the leader’s wife, Ana Carolina Serra, currently at Cidadania.
To the Panel, Pignatari expressed uncertainty as to whether he should continue to be a member of the PSDB. “I still have to make this decision by the end of the month. I need to know whether the PSDB will have a ticket to continue or not,” said the deputy.
When contacted by the Panel, Kassab did not comment until the publication of this text.
