This order from the TCU came after a request from the Transparency, Governance, Inspection, Control and Consumer Protection Commission (CTFC) of the Federal Senate. The request alleged alleged concealment of liabilities through accounting maneuvers between 2022 and 2023, as well as the suspension of the publication of the 2024 financial statements.

This Wednesday, the Court of Auditors authorized the procedure for Correios to present, within 20 days, various documents and information for inspection.
