Lula’s dinner for deputies includes pirarucu, chocolate pie and ‘Disparada’

The dinner hosted this Wednesday (4) by the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), and leaders of the House to strengthen relations, the main menu was very Brazilian food: pirarucu fish, rice, farofa, pirão and salad.

For dessert, chocolate pie, among others.

Lula, Hugo and Gleisi spoke briefly, lasting around 10 minutes in total. Even though the atmosphere was one of fraternization, for some of those present, there was a “clear tone of rapprochement”.

According to reports, Lula sought to thank the leaders for the work carried out last year in a friendly atmosphere, although he recognized the relationship between Planalto and Câmara.

The president also made a point of being very emphatic in his public affection for Hugo Motta, praising his management at the head of the Chamber.

According to leaders, Lula said that Hugo should have gone to sleep many times with “anguish”, but managed to approve “a lot of things”, and that it is not easy to be in his place in the House.

Hugo, in turn, thanked Lula for his support and said that 2026 will have a , in practice, due to Carnival, coordination of party windows, Easter and the World Cup.
