The dinner hosted this Wednesday (4) by the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), and leaders of the House to strengthen relations, the main menu was very Brazilian food: pirarucu fish, rice, farofa, pirão and salad.
For dessert, chocolate pie, among others.
Leaders praised the menu CNN Brazil. There was no live music at the beginning of the year gathering, but the meeting featured songs on the loudspeaker. Among the songs played, “shot“, performed by Jair Rodrigues.

Leaders from the allied base and the center were present, as well as ministers Fernando Haddad (Farm), Alexandre Silveira (Mines and Energy), Sidônio Palmeira (Communication from the Presidency), Guilherme Boulos (General Secretariat of the Presidency), Rui Costa (Civil House) and Hoffmann (Institutional Relations Secretariat).
Guests reported that the atmosphere was relaxed and very informal. First, several groups were formed in circles. Afterwards, dinner was served.
Lula, Hugo and Gleisi spoke briefly, lasting around 10 minutes in total. Even though the atmosphere was one of fraternization, for some of those present, there was a “clear tone of rapprochement”.
According to reports, Lula sought to thank the leaders for the work carried out last year in a friendly atmosphere, although he recognized the relationship between Planalto and Câmara.
The president also made a point of being very emphatic in his public affection for Hugo Motta, praising his management at the head of the Chamber.
According to leaders, Lula said that Hugo should have gone to sleep many times with “anguish”, but managed to approve “a lot of things”, and that it is not easy to be in his place in the House.
Hugo, in turn, thanked Lula for his support and said that 2026 will have a , in practice, due to Carnival, coordination of party windows, Easter and the World Cup.
