The storm keeps 116 roads closed due to rain and snow

The storm that is crossing the peninsula this morning keeps 116 roads closed to traffic at black level, 100 due to intense rains and floods and 16 due to snow, the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) reported at 05:35 this Thursday.

The intense rainfall has caused the closure of sections of national highways such as the N-323, in Cambil-Cárchel (Jaén), between kilometers 60 and 61, and the N-630, in Guillena (Seville), from kilometer point 798.8 to 801.32.

On the A-92, near the port of la Mora (Granada), traffic with caution (green level) is allowed between kilometers 264 and 282 despite the snowfall.

The province of Cádiz is the most affected by the rains with 27 total closures on roads such as the A-2101 (km 0 to 7), A-2102 (km 0 to 6.6), A-2202 (km 8 to 12), A-373R1 (km 0 to 1), A-405 (km 12.5 to 37.5), A-405R2 (km 0 to 1.5), CA-3102 (km 0 to 2.2), CA-3104 (km 0 to 7), CA-3110 (km 0 to 8), CA-3112 (km 0 to 1.5), CA-3113 (km 0 to 14), CA-4100 (km 0), CA-4102 (km 2 to 3.5), CA-4107 (km 0 to 7.5), CA-5101 (km 2 to 12), CA-6101 (km 0 to 8), CA-6105 (km 0 to 15), CA-6200 (km 6.8 to 8), CA-8102 (km 15), CA-8200 (km 6 to 10), CA-9101 (km 0), CA-9120 (km 8), CA-9208 (km 0 to 4.7), CA-9209 (km 0 to 4.1) and CA-9210 (km 0 to 4).

Córdoba registers 19 closures due to rain, including regional roads bA-3131 (km 15.4 to 15.5), A-3278 (km 0.5), A-331 (km 25 to 25.1) and A-333 (km 30.6 to 46.5).

The bridges of CO-4205 (km 0 to 12.61), CO-4207 (km 4 to 6), CO-7204 (km 0.5 to 4.26) and CO-7207 (km 0 to 1.53) are also affected, along with sections on roads CO-4102, CO-5211, CO-6103, CO-7100, CO-7212, CO-7409, CO-8201, CO-8203 and CO-8209.

Seville adds another 17 blockages in the secondary network such as the A-361 (km 0 to 16), A-451R1 (km 0 to 1.79), A-8126 (km 22 to 28.85), SE-3102, SE-4104, SE-5203, SE-5204, SE-5206, SE-5209, SE-6201, SE-6300, SE-9225, SE-BG-02, SE-BG-04 and SE-485 roads.

The rest of the outages due to flooding in the secondary network affect Jaén with 13 lanes; Malaga with 9 sections; Granada with 8 roads in black level; Huelva on the A-495 (km 84) and HU-3101; Almería on the A-399 (km 31.5); León on the LE-5705 (km 1 to 2); Cáceres on the CC-146 (km 3.4 to 3.9) and Pontevedra on the PO-11 (km 1.3 to 3).

Simultaneously, the snow keeps 16 roads of the secondary network located in the Granada ports of the A-395 (km 32 to 39) and A-4025 (km 0 to 7.35) blocked; in the Asturian LN-8 (km 10 to 28) and SD-2 (km 0 to 7.2); and in the Leonese LE-481 (km 11 to 15.9), LE-315 (km 17 to 23) and LE-321 (km 40 to 45).

The black snow level is completed with DSA-180 (km 0 to 9.5) and DSA-191 (km 8 to 10.6) in Salamanca; the ZA-103 in Zamora (km 8 to 16); the NA-137 (km 58 to 59), NA-2011 (km 7 to 10) and NA-2012 (km 7.2 to 23.56) in Navarra; and in Cáceres with the CC-224 (km 0 to 31.3), CC-242 (km 0 to 16.2) and CC-437 (km 0 to 10.6).

The mandatory use of chains or winter tires affects 21 roads in red level due to snow, highlighting AL-5402, A-4030 and A-4301 in Granada-Almería; the Huesca A-1205, A-136, A-2606 and A-2611; and sections in Cantabria (CA-183), Toledo (TO-1375), León (CL-635, LE-126, LE-142, LE-233, LE-234, LE-315, LE-321, LE-460 and LE-473), Salamanca (SA-203) and Navarra (NA-137).

Due to flooding, the red level is active on the GR-4105 in Granada and the VP-4017 in Valladolid.

Traffic remains conditioned with a green level due to snow on the A-136 (km 12 to 21), the A-2617 (km 5 to 12), the port of La Ragua on the A-337 and on the Leonese LE-333 (km 5 to 14).

The DGT asks drivers to check weather information and road conditions before setting off, to remember to be equipped with chains or winter tires and to avoid unnecessary trips as far as possible. (Efe)
