Fernando Madureira was released this Friday, February 6, by the Porto Court of Appeal, after 20 months in preventive detention as part of Operation Praetorian.
The decision comes after the court reduced the sentence from three years and nine months to three years and four months, dropping one of the crimes of bodily harm.
Madureira is now subject to the obligation to report to the police twice a week and not attend sports venues or events linked to FC Porto. The release took place at 5:20 pm.
