Political crisis in Haiti: Transitional Council dissolves


Port-au-Prince/Washington – The political crisis in Haiti is getting worse. The mandate of the Presidential Transitional Council expired on Saturday without the seven-member body being able to significantly improve the situation in the Caribbean country. The interim council established in April 2024 was actually intended to stabilize the security situation and pave the way for elections.
