O dollar began this Wednesday (11) at a low in Brazil, in line with the retreat of the American currency against other currencies abroad, with investors waiting for participation from the president of the Central BankGabriel Galípolo, at an event in São Paulo.
At 9:24 am the spot dollar fell 0.16%, quoted at R$5.1839 on sale.
On Tuesday (10) the spot dollar ended the day with an increase of 0.17%, at R$ 5.1976.
At 11:30 am, the Central Bank holds an auction of 50,000 foreign exchange swap contracts to roll over the March maturity date.
