Cortina d’Ampezzo – The luge athletes increased Austria’s medal count at the Olympic Games in Italy on Wednesday by two to eight. With Thomas Steu/Wolfgang Kindl, two “old hands” won silver in the doubles competition in Cortina d’Ampezzo, while in the women’s category, two Olympic debutants, Selina Egle/Lara Kipp, won bronze. After Jonas Müller’s silver medal in the single-seater, Austria’s toboggan delegation holds three precious metals.
